A bit About Myself
Ioanna Chatzopoulou is an innovative educator, European project strategist, and advocate for inclusive and sustainable education with over 25 years of experience across public and private secondary education. Her work lies at the intersection of pedagogy, social policy, and digital transformation, where she brings visionary ideas into practice through large-scale EU-funded initiatives and cross-sector collaborations.
Currently a PhD candidate in Business Administration at the University of Thessaly, she also holds an MBA from Staffordshire University and a Master’s in Mental Health, reflecting her interdisciplinary approach to learning and wellbeing. Ioanna has played a key role in designing and managing European programs focused on smart cities, green skills, financial literacy, intercultural education, and the educational integration of marginalized youth -particularly Roma and refugee children.
Her portfolio includes authoring educational content, facilitating teacher training programs, and delivering expert talks across Europe and the Middle East, including in Poland, Saudi Arabia, and Greece. She brings a unique blend of academic rigor and field experience to topics such as art therapy, metaverse-based learning, serious games, and social innovation in education.
